Richard Harland has joined Buddy Healthcare in the UK region for the Sales Manager position. He is an experienced sales professional with 19 years of experience in the healthcare industry bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role at Buddy Healthcare. Richard started his journey with Buddy Healthcare by joining the Outpatient Transformation Conference in Manchester, organised by Convenzis Group.
As Sales Manager, Richard will be supporting hospitals in the UK to automate their care coordination by delivering the BuddyCare Platform to surgical and other specialties. Richard will help the NHS make both pre-and post-operative care processes digital and more efficient. One of the goals will be to support hospitals in shortening surgery waiting lists with electronic pre-operative assessment and waiting list management solutions.

I chose Buddy healthcare because of the platform, the passion, and the people.
What are you passionate about?
Being in the UK I am passionate about better healthcare through technology and changing the NHS for the better through that technology. The Buddy healthcare platform will help to achieve this.
What are you most looking forward to in the coming year with Buddy?
This year I am looking forward to becoming an integral member of the Buddy family and building the business up in the UK.
What do you enjoy doing in your leisure time?
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. Anything outdoors is the preference. If I get the chance I also like to sit on my bike hour after hour and clock up some miles on the roads of North East England.
