For patients

If you have received an invitation to use the mobile app through either an SMS or email, you will find a download link included in the invitation message. By clicking this link you will be taken directly to the app page in the app store of your device. fyour hospital is providing a patient portal, please access the mobile app through strong authentication. Below are step-by-step instructions on how to download and install the mobile app on your mobile device:

  1. Open the app store on your mobile device (App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android).
  2. In the search bar, type the name of the app.
  3. Tap on the app from the search results.
  4. Next, look for the "Download" or "Install" button and tap on it. Please note, the app is available for free.
  5. The app will start downloading, and you can monitor the progress through a progress bar or indicator. Once the download is complete, the app will automatically install on your device.
  6. You will find the app's icon on your home screen or app library, depending on your device. Tap on the app icon to launch it.

If you cannot remember your password, please click on “Help To Recover” on the app front page. This action will direct you to the password recovery page, where you will be asked to enter either the phone number or the email address that you initially used during the registration process for the mobile app. It is important to note that you will only receive the password recovery link via the contact information with which you originally registered. If you registered with a mobile phone number, you will receive a recovery link by SMS to that mobile phone number. If you registered with an Email address, your recovery link will be sent to that Email address.

Once you have entered the phone number or email address, kindly proceed by clicking on "Continue". Next, you will see a confirmation stating that a SMS or email has been sent to you. Open the received SMS or email and click on the password recovery link. Follow the instructions provided within the link. Once you have successfully changed your password, return to the mobile app and log in as an existing user using either your phone number or email address, along with the new password.

It's important to clearly communicate what the App is for and what are the benefits it brings to the patient. You could use phrases, such as: “To help support you during your care journey, we’re using a Patient Engagement App for all of our patients who have a smartphone or a tablet.

It’s designed to make things easier for you by providing personalised guidance and keeping everything organised. It provides step-by-step instructions and reminders for your treatment process and easy access to important information. The App also allows direct communication with the care team for any questions about your treatment. The App ensures that you are always aware of all the stages in your treatment and know what is happening next.

The Dashboard shows a list of patients that you can easily filter and sort based on your own preferences. When opening more details about the patient, the Dashboard shows engagement metrics, such as completed tasks and questionnaires, unanswered questionnaires and tasks that the patients have missed. This gives you an overview of patients' adherence to their carepaths.

If a patient is experiencing issues with the Patient Engagement App, kindly direct them to Buddy Healthcare’s customer support team for technical assistance.
