What is the BuddyCare Platform?
- BuddyCare mobile app: A patient who is about to go through a surgery downloads a mobile application called BuddyCare App. The patient will receive timely scheduled educational information, checklists, pre-assessment forms and reminders, which keep the patient on the right track. The mobile app supports the patient to navigate throughout the whole care process. The new mobile app ensures that patients are always aware of the next steps and all information is available 24/7 in one location. The mobile app improves patient communication and experience.
- Healthcare professionals' dashboard: Meanwhile, patients use the mobile app; the care personnel uses Dashboard. Through the Dashboard, the care personnel has real-time visibility of the patients' activities. The data helps care personnel to identify patients who have or are about to deviate from the care process. With the BuddyCare Platform, healthcare professionals have been able to automate and improve care coordination, which leads to significant reductions in admin work (calls, mailings, etc.) and costs. Automated digital patient guidance ensures that patients are better informed, and will be at the right place, right time properly prepared.
