We are pleased to announce that Helen McClorry has joined Buddy Healthcare as the Sales Director for the South of England and Wales.
Helen brings a wealth of experience in the technology and healthcare sectors. She enjoyed a long and varied career journey before joining Buddy Healthcare. Beginning her professional journey in software engineering at BT plc, Helen progressed into Strategic Management, Senior Marketing Manager and Sales roles at various organisations including Orion Health and MAMA Academy, a maternity charity focused on NHS-facing initiatives.
In her new role as Sales Director, Helen will play a crucial role in supporting NHS Trusts across Southern England and Wales. Her primary focus will be promoting an understanding of how care coordination processes can be automated and patients' perioperative pathways digitised. Helen's mission is to drive transformation within the NHS, turning passive waiting lists into proactive preparation lists.

What made you choose Buddy Healthcare?
The main reason I chose Buddy Healthcare was the people. Before I joined Buddy Healthcare, I had the opportunity to spend time with some of the team. What are you passionate about?
My passion lies in embracing technology that streamlines processes for both clinicians and patients. I am particularly enthusiastic about solutions that alleviate the burden of paperwork and repetitive tasks, allowing healthcare professionals to focus more on direct patient care—the very reason they entered the field.
What are you most looking forward to in the coming year with Buddy?
Looking ahead to the coming year with Buddy Healthcare, I am eager to highlight the tangible benefits of Buddy Healthcare’s care coordination Platform and Patient App. I anticipate showcasing the seamless transition for patients from home to hospital and back home again, and the potential reduction in surgery cancellations, which will significantly enhance productivity for healthcare Trusts.
What do you enjoy doing in your leisure time?
Fitness has always been integral to my life. As a Level 4 Health and Fitness Practitioner, I enjoy activities such as running, cycling, Pilates, and weight training. I spend my weekends volunteering as a First Aider for Buckingham Rugby Football Club where my children are actively involved in playing.
